Arts and Sciences Division: New Student Welcome Celebration

Start your WVU Parkersburg journey by connecting with classmates, enjoying sweet treats and celebrating the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Join us from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, in the Courtyard (or the Student Lounge in the event of rain) for an evening of fun, community and an ice cream bar. Hosted by the Arts and Sciences Division, this celebration is a great opportunity to meet fellow new students, make connections and kick off the academic year.

Whether you're attending your first semester at WVU Parkersburg or beginning a new educational journey, this event is designed to help you feel welcome and become part of the Riverhawk community. This event is open to all new students.
